JC Racing is a brand-building race team with focus on promoting racing events, racing leagues, racing clubs, diversity, corporate responsibility, and STEM-based education throughout the United States.

Julius Curry was born and raised on the Eastside of Detroit. Julius's love for racing started at an early age through helping his father and uncle build and race cars. For Julius, racing is more than a sport, it holds a special place in his heart.
As a child, Julius attended Catholic School and lettered in football, basketball and track. His hard work, perseverance and drive for excellence paid off, and he was rewarded a football scholarship to the University of Michigan. While at Michigan, he competed in five bowl games and won two big

He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sports Management, Marketing and Communications from the University of Michigan.
In 2003, Julius made one of his dreams come true by making it to the NFL, playing for the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers. During his career in the NFL, Julius decided to focus on another passion, racing. In 2005, Julius started Curry Racing, LLC which participated in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Now, you can find Julius at race tracks promoting races, helping drivers find sponsors or at a school helping educators and students learn more about diversity, STEM and racing.
